光学发展与人类文明
本课程以光科学发展史为主干,在构建光学基本知识体系的基础上,从多学科、跨文化的视角实现光科学与人类历史、社会的对话,深入分析光学学科所蕴含的科学思维和内在规律,实现光学“广义科普”的教学目标。
课程内容包括 “众说有光”、“理性之光”、“光的本质”、“光、世界与未来” 四个模块。前两个模块涉及从古代光学萌芽到近代经典光学的几何光学阶段,属于光科学的储备阶段。“众说有光”模块侧重于人类历史早期不同社会群体对光现象的猜测和思考,从主观认识向客观理解演变的真实过程;“理性之光”模块侧重于光科学的理性认知和应用发展;两模块以“众说”和“理性”为特征形成鲜明对照,反映了人类建立理性科学观过程的复杂性和曲折性。第三模块“光的本质”,以经典光学波动光学和现代光学量子光学初创两个阶段为主体,属于光学理论全面发展时期,建立较为成型的光学基本知识体系。 第四个模块“光、世界与未来”主要对应于现代光学阶段,介绍激光器问世后的关键科学问题与技术、与未来发展或人类命运共同体关联的前沿问题,反思人类、自然、科技、社会与未来之间的多元关系。
学生通过本课程的学习,可建立对光学基本知识体系的全面而直观的认识;培养分析解决问题的科学思维能力、科学探索精神和创新意识,提高科学素质;从人文、社会及其他自然科学学科等多学科的视角理解光科学发展对人类文明的重要意义,树立正确的历史观、价值观和科学观,培养本土传承与发展的社会责任感。
电动力学
【电动力学】是光电子类(例如:光电信息科学与工程专业、信息工程专业)、物理类及相关专业的一门专业核心课。一般开设于本科第4学期。
【电动力学】和【理论力学】、【热力学与统计物理】、【量子力学】一起组成了理论物理的四大力学,是物理类及相关专业本科生在【普通物理】的基础上、为了进一步把感性认识提高到理性认识而必须学习的核心基础理论课程。
【电动力学】的学习目标是在【电磁学】、【高等数学】和【数学物理方法】等课程的基础上,系统学习电磁相互作用的经典理论、基本概念和基本规律的物理图像,学习解决电磁系统问题的基本理论方法。
量子力学
一般的说法是:量子力学是研究微观物体运动状态和运动规律的科学。 但严格来说,量子力学既适用于微观物体,也适用于宏观物体;小到基本粒子,大到整个宇宙。在早期,量子效应只在微观过程表现出来,而现在,人们已在介观、宏观、甚至宇观世界发现了许多量子效应。
本课程将依次介绍量子力学的诞生及简史、薛定谔方程的引入及简单应用、量子力学的基本原理、一些量子效应(例如:量子隧道效应、Zeeman效应、Stark效应、光谱线的精细结构等)及其应用。
由于量子力学的Dirac形式(Dirac符号)的简洁性、紧凑性、普适性,以及在科技文献中的广泛应用,本课程将突出Dirac形式。
电磁场理论
课程描述:

本课程的课程目标:
《电磁场理论》以电磁学为基础,以矢量代数和微积分为主要数学工具,以简洁的理论形式,高度概括了与电、磁相关的物理现象和规律。本课程的目标是对电磁学的基本概念、基本规律加深理解,借助矢量代数和微积分等数学工具加深对电磁场的基本属性及其运动规律的认识;掌握分析和处理电磁场问题的基本方法,提高处理电磁场基本问题的能力,加深理解电磁场本质,培养学生具有一定的抽象思维能力。因此,加强《电磁场理论》课程的建设,使之成为在线开放课程非常必要。
2.课程简介
《电磁场理论》课程主要在《电磁学》、《高等数学》、和《数学物理方法》等课程的基础上系统讲授电磁场基本现象、规律、和经典理论,着重阐释基本概念和基本规律的物理图像,讲授解决电磁场问题的基本理论方法。
《电磁场理论》课程的主要内容包括:(1)电磁场的基本现象,(2)电磁场的基本规律,(3)静电场和静磁场,(4)介质在电磁场作用下的极化和磁化,(5)电磁场和导体间的相互作用,(6)电磁场的产生和传播等等。

【目的要求】
1、熟练掌握电磁场的基本现象和基本规律,熟练掌握静电场、静磁场的性质规律和研究方法,熟练掌握电磁波的基本性质和基本规律。
2、掌握电磁场产生和传播理论。
3、了解和关注与电磁场理论密切相关的光学前沿动态,了解光子晶体、光孤子、超材料、宇称—时间对称光学结构等等光学专业的热门研究领域的基本概念和焦点问题。
【考核方式】
1、平时作业占总成绩权重的30%;
2、在线讨论占总成绩权重的10%;
3、期末考试采用闭卷考试形式,卷面成绩占总成绩权重的60%。
4. 课程建设设计思路(可附页)
将《电磁场理论》课程建设成在线开放课程,我们的设计思路主要包括以下3个方面。
(1)在教学形式方面,增加2种新的教学方式。由目前的单一面授方式,改革成面授、在线学习讨论、和线下交流沟通等3种方式。在线开放课程建设初期,仍然以面授方式为主,以在线学习讨论方式为辅,以线下交流沟通为补充手段。在线开放课程建设比较成熟之后,根据实际效果,适当增加在线学习讨论环节所占比重。
(2)在教学内容方面,将部分重要教学内容改革为在线教学方式。由目前的重点难点内容全部采用面授方式,改革成部分重点难点内容让教师和学生共同参与、交互讨论的在线学习讨论方式。随着在线学习讨论方式的引入,《电磁场理论》课程的学习将大大增加学生在线学习的范围和群体,大大提高教师对教学水平和责任心的要求,大大提升学生主动学习、思考、和思辨的能力。为了进一步激发学生的学习兴趣,我们计划精选在线学习讨论的教学内容,将各章难度较大、比较抽象繁琐、可塑性较大、与光学前沿联系较密切的内容纳入在线环节,并在以后的实践过程中逐步调整和优化。
(3)在教学方法方面,引入崭新的“对分课堂”教学方法。除了继续采用面授、讨论、提问、和布置书面作业等传统教学方法以外,还准备借鉴和部分引用由复旦大学张学新教授于2014年首创的“对分课堂”教学方法,尤其是在在线学习讨论环节重点尝试“对分课堂”的教学方法。和传统的教学方法相比,“对分课堂”将学生自主学习、3人小组交流讨论、全班代表交流讨论、教师积极引导和掌控等4个环节紧密地结合在一起。从复旦大学介绍的该方法在大学、中学、小学、甚至幼儿园的教学推广实践看,该方法有可能在抽象、难懂、难记、适合讨论等等的内容教学方面具有明显优于传统教学方法的效果。
氦氖激光综合实验
本实验紧紧围绕激光原理课程展开,对学生充分理解理论知识起到积极作用,并且能够培养学生的动手能力和理论知识的实际运用能力。本实验的具体包括氦氖激光器谐振腔的调整,共焦球面扫描干涉仪调整,半外腔激光器等效腔长测量,激光横模变换与参数测量,氦氖激光纵模偏振与模式竞争,高斯光束参数测量,高斯光束的变换与测量,激光谐振腔的设计八个实验。具体实验目的包括让学生理解激光谐振原理,掌握激光谐振腔的调节方法,学会测量激光光斑功率大小,了解共焦球面扫描干涉仪的结构,掌握测量共焦球面扫描干涉仪两个重要性能参数的方法,测量激光器纵模,了解激光器纵模与横模的区别,掌握改变激光器纵模的方法,了解高斯光束光斑横模,学会调节多种不同模式的光斑,了解氦氖激光模式的基本原理,了解激光器的偏振特性,掌握激光偏振测量方法,了解激光纵模正交偏振理论与模式竞争理论,掌握氦氖激光纵模正交偏振与模式竞争观测实验的光路调节,理解激光光束特性的主要参数,掌握激光传播特性的主要参数的测量方法等等。
