英语语音学是英语专业的专业选修课程,其基本任务在于使英语专业学生了解英语语音学和音系学的基本概念和理论,掌握科学方法分析和纠正英语学习者在交际中的语音语调问题,并学会应用语音学研究方法开展英语教学与研究。

英语语音语调(2)是一门以理论指导实践的课程,通过系统的英语语音学知识指导学生掌握连贯语流中英语语音语调的规律,从而提高学生的英语听说能力,同时为学生今后进行英语教学或语音学理论研究打下良好的基础。本课程是《英语语音语调(1)》的后续课程,主要通过系统的语音学原理的指导与发音技巧的训练,让学生掌握英语连贯语流中重音、节奏、连读、弱读、语调等语音现象的规律,使学生学会用自然得体的语音语调朗读以及进行口语交际。本课程主要内容为《英语语音学基础实用教程》中重音、节奏、连读、弱读、语调等方面的原理及练习,采用理论讲解加自主学习的混合教学方式,利用学校的砺儒云课堂,补充语音听辨、口语交际、发音视频等课余听说练习和资料,为学生提供课后自主学习的素材。
